Jim Dine

Jim Dines prints of tools are very interesting. His subjects include tools and clothing. I enjoy the way he uses colors in some of his prints. He has been categorized as a pop artist. Jim Dines monochrome prints are impressive as well, utilizing high contrasts of his black and white.

Giorgio Morandi

One of my favorite artists is Giorgio Morandi. Morandi creates serene images of typically still life's which consist of carefully arranged bottles and trinkets. They are meditative in quality and emit an aura of peacefulness. His landscapes also have the same level of attention to design his still life's have. His prints, and definitely his paintings make at least me, stop and ponder his images.
